Pressure-energised floating ball design delivering tight bi-directional shut-off for mid-range bore process and pipeline service.
The floating ball valve suspends the ball between two resilient or metal seats, allowing line pressure to push the ball against the downstream seat and create a pressure-energised seal. This self-energising mechanism produces tight shut-off without complex seating geometry — resulting in a robust, easily maintained valve ideal for general process isolation in sizes up to 12″.
VALVAX floating ball valves are available in 2-piece and 3-piece body construction. The 3-piece design allows the centre body section to be removed from the pipe for in-line cleaning or seat replacement without removing the end connections. Full-bore and reduced-bore configurations are available.
