Technical Overview

The cast steel bolted bonnet gate valve is the workhorse of process plant isolation. VALVAX manufactures OS&Y (outside screw and yoke) rising stem and non-rising stem configurations to API 600 and BS 1414, with wedge gate or parallel slide disc arrangements. The through-conduit full bore design provides zero pressure drop in the fully open position, essential for pig-passing and metering applications.

Bolted bonnets permit field repacking without removing the valve from service. Available with hand-wheel, bevel gear, or actuator operation, and with extended glands for fugitive emission service to ISO 15848. All body castings are radiographed and hydrostatically tested before assembly.
