Technical Overview

Forged gate valves are the standard for small-bore instrument root valves, instrument isolation, chemical injection quills, and drain and vent connections at high pressure. The forged body eliminates the porosity and shrinkage risks inherent in small-bore castings, providing a dense, defect-free pressure envelope. ASTM A105 and F316 forgings machined from bar stock are standard for ½″ to 1½″ sizes.

VALVAX forge gate valves are designed to API 602 and ISO 15761. Available in integral flanged, socket weld, and threaded end connections. Rising stem OS&Y design provides visual indication of valve position. All NACE-compliant trims are available for sour gas and CO₂ service.
