Self-energising pressure seal bonnet enables reliable throttling and isolation in supercritical steam and high-pressure process service.

The pressure seal globe valve combines the flow regulation capability of the globe valve geometry with the self-energising bonnet seal required for reliable performance at Class 900 and above. As line pressure increases, the internal pressure acting on the bonnet sealing ring increases bonnet clamping force — creating a valve that becomes inherently tighter as the process becomes more demanding.
VALVAX pressure seal globe valves are specified for supercritical power plant bypass and desuperheating service, high-pressure steam letdown stations, and HP/LP bypass systems. The Y-pattern body configuration provides a straight-through flow path for low pressure drop and reduced erosion in high-velocity steam service.
