The pressure seal swing check valve is the non-return counterpart to pressure seal gate and globe valves in high-pressure steam systems. The self-energising pressure seal bonnet eliminates the need for heavy bonnet bolting at Class 900–2500 pressures, producing a compact valve that maintains tight bonnet sealing under the severe thermal cycling of power plant steam service.
VALVAX PS swing check valves are IBR approved and specified for main steam, hot reheat, and supercritical boiler feedwater non-return service. The Stellite 6 hard-faced seat and disc withstand the high-velocity steam impingement at Class 1500 and 2500 operation without erosion damage.
