Spring-assisted piston lift check for small-bore, high-pressure instrument and process non-return service in vertical or horizontal installation.

The forge lift check valve uses a spring-loaded piston disc that lifts axially against the seat in response to forward flow, then closes instantly when flow ceases or reverses. The guided piston prevents the disc from cocking or jamming — a common failure mode in small-bore swing checks at high velocities. The spring-assist also enables horizontal installation without relying on gravity for closure.
VALVAX forge lift check valves comply with API 602 and ISO 15761, with forged ASTM A105 or F316 bodies. They are used extensively as instrument check valves, pump discharge non-return valves in chemical injection service, and in-line non-return protection on small-bore sampling systems and hydraulic actuation lines.
